flickers (2018)

This work was created alongside light collection, where I took recordings of light and shadow in my day to day activity with photographs, and translated them into a book. Flickers serves as another collection that documents the light, however through video form. In this video I focused more on light and shadow movements. With the chosen videos pieced together, I abstracted them using video altering methods beyond their recognisable origin. What was once movements of light appears as curious floating black masses, allowing more focus on the movement and changing forms than the cause.
