GeoSpace

15.05.2021 - 01.08.21

GeoSpace was a hands-on children’s art space themed and developed in response to Tricky Walsh’s exhibition Speculative Realms, which explored themes such as constructed realities and speculative science fiction. Drawing on Walsh’s imaginative and multi-dimensional approach to form, structure, and identity, GeoSpace invited children to step into a creative lab of their own.

The activities created for this space prompted spatial thinking, geometry in art and imaginary landscapes, empowering young visitors to experiment with shape, pattern and construction, and mirroring Walsh’s interest in creating speculative systems and surreal environments.
