The Inventor's Workshop
26.02.21 - 25.04.21
The Inventor’s Workshop was an interactive children’s art space designed to run alongside the exhibition Da Vinci Machines, a showcase of working models based on Leonardo da Vinci’s visionary designs. Drawing inspirations from da Vinci’s inventive spirit, and blend of art and science, the space invited children to step into the role of inventor and to dream up creations of their own.
The space was designed to spark hand-on exploration, providing various materials and suggestions for children to tinker, test and translate their ideas into form. Children could share the blueprints for their designs on the ideas wall and display models created with recycled and repurposed materials on the shelves, adding to a growing showcase of inventions.
